Dr. Foutz grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii then BYU in Provo, Utah and University of Utah for medical school. There he met his wife Katy and they are the parents of 7 children who occupy most of their waking (and some of their sleeping) hours. He interrupted his College years with an L.D.S. Mission to Vancouver, Brittish Columbia where he learned Vietnamese to teach the refugees in the area. And since then has used his second language in multiple medical settings, including an annual medical mission trip to Hai Phong, Vietnam to assist in plastic surgery repairs of underserved children with (I.C.S.F.) In his “spare” time he enjoys studying God’s word regularly and reading fantasy, self help or historical fiction; watching superhero movies; and coaching or playing sports.View profile
